SPLIT GL is a modern-looking chair that is very much on-trend in the world of furniture. The shell is the same as the Split chair, but this time, the legs are made from wood, while an aluminium frame delivers solidity and ensures the base and upper fit together perfectly.
Split GL's design is a perfect match for Nordic and Scandi style, especially interiors where the aim is to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The seating has been designed for use in hospitality (such as bars and restaurants) and residential interiors, such as dining rooms and eat-in kitchens.
This seating collection, designed by Francesco Meda, includes several versions, differing in size and the material used for the frame, which comes in a choice of plastic, wood or metal.

Francesco Meda
Francesco Meda, born in Milan in 1984 and a graduate in Industrial Design from the IED in 2006, began his career in London, working at the studios of Sebastian Bergne and Ross Lovegrove.
